Easy Exercise #2

I have a 13 month old…One of my favorite “workouts” is actually holding her in my arms.  Now I love baby wearing, but when I am able I hold my sweetie in my arms.  It isn’t long before my arm starts to burn and I need to switch sides.  DON’T CHEAT either by shifting your hip out to the side in the classic momma hold. Keep your body straight and let your arm muscles do their thing.  Doubt me?  Just try it.  If you don’t have any babies handy just try holding something you usually would avoid carrying.  Walk home with your groceries in your hands or hold your laundry basket out away from your body, rather than resting it against you.  You get the idea! Now go do it!
